Tonight I will head to Baton Rouge to race in the last of the 4D Spring Track Series races. I bought my Fuji Track secondhand in the summer of 2009 and this spring has been the first time it’s ever made it to the velodrome. It’s been a painful good time trying to learn the ropes of track racing, which is both physically and mentally demanding.
Fret not about missing out on all the track racing because in September there will be a Fall Series leading into the LAMBRA Track Championships. Get yourself up to Baton Rouge to practice in the meantime, as the track is open and free to ride during the day. For more info, join the Baton Rouge Velodrome Association Facebook group.
